• BohnCato is operated by Seth and Mark; cousins who each discovered a passion for timber framing and after 30 years, found each other.  Yes, you get both of us when you work with BohnCato.  You also get the amazing blend of Nebraska and Washington.
• We love doing smaller well designed homes.  You’ve told us smaller homes are making a comeback due to higher energy costs and all of those other continuously escalating costs you must absorb as a homeowner.
• We want to use the earth’s resources wisely and support green building design as ultimately, it benefits you and us.
• Yes, new urbanism projects trip our trigger – do you remember the neighborhood you grew up in?
• We know timber frames, it is our passion.
• We know how to help you identify your needs.
• We discuss your budget and your schedule with you at every meeting.

Historically timber-frames have had the power to bring people together.  Traditionally, the construction and raising of a timber-frame home was an event involving family, friends and the community.  It is in appreciation of these fundamental characteristics of the timber-frame that ultimately united two distant cousins after 30 years and formed what is now BohnCato Timber Frames. 

Our story is unique, and we are interested in sharing it with you. Ultimately, the next chapter of our story should be the beginning of the story we participate in with you and the construction of your timber frame home.
